After one of his friend's lifeless body washes up near Shadow Island, supernatural detective Edward Carnby decided to investigate. He discovers that his buddy was looking for three tablets that are rumored to be the key to a great power. Carnby decides to take over his friend's quest, but he brings some help: archaeologist Aline Cedrac. Now, the two must use their limited resources to figure out what is happening on Shadow Island. Using an arsenal of supernatural weapons, they will have to battle the minions of evil that stand in the way. Thanks to innovative technology the game runs in the high-color mode, which allowed the designers to create incredibly detailed backgrounds and character sprites.
