1. How do I use Swap Magic software?

- Instruction for Swap Magic software:
1. Insert a Swap Magic 3 Disc in your PlayStation2 (CD is for booting
CD backups/import games. DVD version is for booting DVD backups/import
games)
2. When there are two options (Load Program and Video Mode) on the screen,
that is the time to swap the disc. ** [ you need to install the tools
( eg. magic switch, fliptop , slide tools ) to enable the console not
to reset while swaping the disc ]
3. Insert your CD or DVD backup
4. Use Flip Top Cover or Slide-Tool to put the CD tray back
5. Press X on joy pad and the game will start

- Imported games are in Japanese. For PS2 systems, you will need Swap
Magic in order to play imported games. You may find imported games and

4. I want to use PS2 controllers on my PC, what do I need?

- Depending on how many controllers you want to use on your PC. We have
2 port converter, which will allow 2 controllers
to play simultaneously. If you need more than 2 controllers on one computer,
we also have the 4 port converter.
5. My PS2 game allows up to 4 players to play at one time, but my
PS2 system only have 2 ports.. Back

6. I want to use my PS2 controllers on my PS3 or Wii, which converters
do I need? Back to Top
- For PS3 systems, you can purchase this PS2
to PS3 converter. For Wii systems, you can purchase this PS2
to Wii converter. Please note: The PS2 to PS3 converter will convert
PS2 controllers and dance pads to PS3 (with the exception of PS2 guitar
controllers, please see #7).
7. Will PS2 guitar controller work on my PS3 with the converter?

- Currently, no. this PS2 to PS3 converter
will only work for PS2 controllers and PS2 dance pads on PS3. Guitar
controllers have a different configuration, so that the converter will
not work with PS2 guitar controller. We would recommend using the PS3
guitar controller for Guitar Hero 3 instead of the PS2 guitar controller.
8. Is Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+ Imported in English?

- Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+ Imported is in Japanese; however, the
language can be changed to English, but the voice will still be in Japanese.
9. I cannot play DVD games with swap magic, what can I do?

- There are many reason causing this issue Anyway, there are some suggestions:
1 try to use another brand of DVD disc
2 try to burn backup games in a lower speed (not more than 4X) which
help the readability of disc in PS2
3 make sure you use DVD Swap Magic to boot DVD games and use CD Swap
Magic to boot CD games
4 try to plug off the power cord from your PS2 console and plug it back
5 minutes later and try again
5 If the above methods cannot fix the problem, please try an original
disc to test if it works or even take your Swap Magic to test on another
console if possible
10. I just received my swap magic 3.6 disc set The cd version works
fine, however when I try to load up the DVD version of swap magic, the
load program screen does not come up I can tell that the PS2 is not even
spinning the disc to read it Did I get a bad disc?

- Please test your disc with your friend console to see whether it boot
up or not If the disc cannot boot up, then it assure you got the bad
disc Then please ask your seller to replace for you
11. Why do I get black and white display when I play imported games

- Please boot up your PS2 console with Swap Magic On the Swap Magic
screen, choose "Video Mode" and turn it to PAL / NTSC according
to your console and load game when you finished.
12. I wanted to know will any cheat devices (codebreaker, action replay,
gameshark, etc,) work with the swap magic?

- Gameshark is compatible with Swapmagic3,com, First of all you should
set the cheat code in Gameshark, and then you can boot the console by
Swapmagic3 and play your game disc.
13. Will Swap Magic3 work with DVD+R backups?

- You can use either DVD+ or DVD- disc for your backup, but make sure
you need to use the IMAGE COPY mode for backing up your disc.
